D-Day is a day of remembrance, honor, bravery, and appreciation. To celebrate its 73rd Anniversary, we wanted to display the statistics of this historical event in a visually engaging way.

Initially, we tried out changing the typical red, white, and blue color scheme with something a bit more unique. After several iterations, we settled back on a patriotic palette, with less bold tones.

The infographic was a great exercise in using imagery and a color palette that I wasn’t familiar with, and was a blast to make!
